Under this title, a group of bourgeois, commercially oriented people created future scenarios for the city of Basel. The event was part of the series «Which city do they want?» which was initiated by the CVP Basel, the association Zukunft.Klybeck together with the trade association Basel-Stadt and the middle class association Basel. In consultation with the participants, we developed the setting for the workshop. The City Mosaic (link Part.Imag. II) was the introduction to the topic «Compatibility of housing and commerce». The collages were based on cross-sectional views of four scenarios from the synthesis planning of the Klybeck area. The collage material was divided into subject areas (people, plants, traffic, etc.) and tailored by us. During the work on the collages, participants from different groups of actors mixed into spontaneous conversations, which culminated in a constructive discussion of all participants.

Unter diesem Titel entwarf eine Gruppe bürgerlich, gewerblich orientierter Personen Zukunftsszenarien für die Stadt Basel. Die Veranstaltung war Teil der Reihe «Welche Stadt wollen sie?» die von der CVP Basel, dem Verein Zukunft.Klybeck gemeinsam mit dem Gewerbeverband Basel-Stadt und der Mittelstands-Vereinigung Basel initiiert wurde. In Rücksprache mit den Teilnehmenden entwickelten wir das Setting für den Workshop. Das Stadt-Mosaik (link Part.Imag. II) bildete den Einstieg ins Thema «Vereinbarkeit von Wohnen und Gewerbe». Als Grundlage für die Collagen dienten Querschnittsansichten von vier Szenarien aus der Syntheseplanung des Klybeck-Areals. Das Collagematerial war in Themenbereiche (Menschen, Pflanzen, Verkehr, etc.) unterteilt und von uns zugeschnitten. Bei der Arbeit an den Collagen mischten sich Teilnehmende aus unterschiedlichen Akteursgruppen zu spontanen Gesprächen, die zum Abschluss in eine konstruktive Diskussion aller Teilnehmenden mündeten.
